Innovative use of Safelane for Pre-works closure
On the East entry slip road, the Intellicone® enabled cone lamps were moved by a motorist activating the local alarm and the checkpoint alarm. The local alarm acted as a deterrent and the motorist moved on without entering site.

Deployment on dual carriageway closure
The road closure was breached multiple times by cyclists attempting t enter through an Intellicone® enabled cone barrier. The Safelane incursion system alerted the workforce of these breaches and other attempts whilst the presence of an audio-visual alarm near the barrier proved a good deterrent and stopped the majority of cyclists attempting to enter the closure from proceeding.
